NorthPoint was created by the community, for the community more than half a century ago, with the vision to address longstanding health disparities and create a more just society.
Today, our vision for a more just society lives on in our work to provide housing, nutrition, education, employment, and other types of support to our community that address disparities that are the result of historic and ongoing structural and systemic racism and discrimination.
The global pandemic has exacerbated these disparities and made the work we do at NorthPoint more important now than ever before.
With support from donors like you, we can:
- Maximize equitable distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine at our welcoming clinic in the heart of the culturally rich community we serve.
- See to it that community members at risk of homelessness have the support to pay the rent and find long-term solutions to their housing insecurity.
- Ensure families, seniors, and others have ready access to fresh, healthy, culturally appropriate food when they need it.
- Create a safer community through culturally responsive violence prevention programs that work.
- And so much more.
Your contribution today increases our efforts to be strategically nimble during this time of uncertainty. With so many unknowns, flexibility will be critical as we work to address both the challenges and opportunities the coming months and years will bring.
We are community led and proud to serve our culturally rich, ethnically diverse residents of North Minneapolis and the northern suburbs. Thank you for partnering with us to create a healthier community!
