Individual Instruction for Nutrition

Individual instruction is intended for those with special needs. Meet with a registered dietitian and learn about the nutrition management of:

  • Diabetes
  • Heart disease (Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, etc.)
  • Pregnancy
  • High blood pressure
  • Kidney stones
  • Malnutrition
  • Food allergies
  • Gastrointestinal disorders
  • Special needs of children, and older adults
  • Nutrition concerns of older adults
  • Other medical conditions

Eat Smart - The Path to Fitness and Healthy Weight

Looking for assistance with food and fitness lifestyle changes? Instruction by registered dietitians, will give you a common sense approach to healthy eating and living which result in higher energy levels and decreased health risks. Along the way you will probably even discover that you are slowly losing weight due to an improved eating and activity plan.

Cholesterol Consultations

Consists of general heart healthy eating information presented in a group setting by our Healthy Heart group. Consultations follow the American Heart Association’s nutritional recommendations and guidelines. Topics include: dining out tips, decreasing saturated/fat intake, sodium, defining lab values, and incorporating soy and omega-3 fatty acids into your daily plan.


Costs for classes and individual instruction may be partially covered by some insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid (DSHS). We encourage you to contact your insurance company or Medicare for verification of your benefits.

NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center can bill your insurance company directly.
